Mrs. Hodge was nominated by Stefanie Chase. Stefanie said,

"Mrs. Karee Hodge from Neil Armstrong Elementary in Park View, Iowa is my favorite teacher.  Mrs. Hodge is my son's kindergarten teacher.  She goes above and beyond to make learning fun and engaging for her students.  Her classroom is filled with love and laughter and each one of her students knows how important they are to her.  Mrs. Hodge takes everything in stride and knows how to roll with the punches even when my son drew a butt on his alphabet page."

Great work Mrs. Hodge! For being our QC Teacher of the Week, Mrs. Hodge has been rewarded with a B100 Prize Pack which included a B100 stocking cap, stickers, a Pepsi, a B100 Bluetooth speaker, and more things, plus an awesome cake from Nothing Bundt Cakes

Thank you for your hard work and dedication, Mrs. Hodge!

Spring 2021 brought a lot of smiles to teachers throughout the Quad Cities. Even though students, teachers, parents, and staff had a tough year due to the pandemic, we still had a chance to get out and award amazing teachers with a cake and swag for being QC Teacher of the Week.

LOOK: Here are the 50 best beach towns in America

Every beach town has its share of pluses and minuses, which got us thinking about what makes a beach town the best one to live in. To find out, Stacker consulted data from WalletHub, released June 17, 2020, that compares U.S. beach towns. Ratings are based on six categories: affordability, weather, safety, economy, education and health, and quality of life. The cities ranged in population from 10,000 to 150,000, but they had to have at least one local beach listed on TripAdvisor. Read the full methodology here. From those rankings, we selected the top 50. Readers who live in California and Florida will be unsurprised to learn that many of towns featured here are in one of those two states.

Keep reading to see if your favorite beach town made the cut.
