It's actually a new microbrewery that opens today in Bettendorf with 5 different styles of beer ready to taste.

Crawford Brew Works an industrial-looking brewpub at 3659 Devils Glen Road, Bettendorf is ready for customers. According to a QC Times article ,the brewery features equipment made by Crawford Company, a Rock Island-based company founded in 1952 that got into manufacturing brewing equipment about seven years ago.

Healthy Habits bike shop is located just next door and the shop and brewery are right off of the Duck Creek Parkway Trail, a hard-surfaced trail that runs through Davenport and Bettendorf.

Here's what you'll find on tap for the opening season:

KINDA KOLSCH’ISH: A crisp, refreshing German Style beer. Pleasant Pilsner and Vienna malts balanced with Mandarina Bavaria hops for a citrus character.

GET OFF MY LAWN IPA: A well balanced IPA with a solid malt backbone. Cascade, Centennial, Chinook, and Columbus hops add a refreshing citrus character and solid bitterness without wrecking your palette.

ROAD RASH RASPBERRY: A big blast of raspberries with a soft  malt profile. Nothing subtle about the fruit character in this beer.  This one offers a pleasant tartness that only comes from real fruit concentrate from Michigan.

PEDAL YOUR A** OFF PORTER: A big, bold Porter with dark bitter chocolate and molasses notes with a hint of vanilla.

WITTY REPARTEE: A Belgian Wit that went a little bit crazy.  Traditional orange peel and coriander blends with a soft wheat malt character and a subtle Kent Goldings hop character.

Suddenly I'm incredibly thirsty and is it a coincidence this brewery opens on Mother's Day weekend?
